(The Chapter of Victory)

110. Surat Al-Nasr

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful


1. When the victory comes [from Allah] and the conquest [of Makkah] comes, 


2. And you [i.e., Muhammad] see people embrace Allah’s religion [i.e., Islam] in crowds, 


3. Glorify and praise your Lord, and ask Him to forgive you. Truly, He is the Oft-Forgiver.  

(The Chapter of the Rope)

111. Surat Al-Masad

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful


1. The two hands of Abu Lahab [i.e., a disbeliever and uncle of Prophet Muhammad] are at a loss, and so is he. 


2. Neither his wealth nor his sons will benefit him. 


3. He will suffer in the Blazing Fire, 


4. And so will his wife, who used to carry thorns [and put them in the way of Prophet Muhammad]. 


5. And around her neck there will be a rope of fire.  

(The Chapter of Sincerity)

112. Surat Al-Ikhlas

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful


1. Say, [O Muhammad], “He is Allah, the One.” 


2. “Allah is the Self-Sufficient Master [i.e., He needs none, but needed by all].” 


3. “He does not beget, nor was He begotten.” 


4. “And He has no equal.”  

(The Chapter of the Daybreak)

113. Surat Al-Falaq

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful


1. Say, “I seek refuge with the Lord of the daybreak,” 


2. “From the evil of what He has created,” 


3. “And from the evil of the night when it comes with its darkness,” 


4. “And from the evil of witches,” 


5. “And from enviers when they envy.”                          

(The Chapter of Mankind)

114. Surat Al-Nas

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful


1. Say, “I seek refuge with the Lord of mankind,” 


2. “The King of mankind,” 


3. “The God of mankind,” 


4. “From the evil of the whisperer, the withdrawer [i.e., the devil],” 


5. “Who whispers in the hearts of people,” 


6. “Whether the whisperer be of jinn or men.”
